Our Mission an orange line

To engage Calgary's diverse population with counselling, caregiving and innovative community interventions and programs.

Our Vision an orange line

Nurturing the spirit by honouring the mind and caring for the body.

Enriching the Quality of Life an orange line

The Calgary Family Services Society offers a broad spectrum of services designed to enhance family relationships; to help children reach their full potential; and to assist people who are elderly, ill or handicapped to maintain their independence. The organization fulfills its mandate by offering Calgarians easy access to support counsellors and caregivers who work with families in their own homes, schools and neighbourhoods. Our staff value quality, innovation and diversity.

Easy Access an orange line

The Access Unit is the agency's point of entry for new clients. The Society has a centralized access system. People can gain access to any of our programs by calling our listed number (269-9888). Our Receptionists,  Intake Coordinator and Access Coordinators are trained to identify the needs of inquiring clients and direct them to the proper service provider or to other agencies if we are not equipped to meet their needs.
