A Helping Service For You

Most people find it very helpful to discuss their personal problems with a caring counsellor.

Our counsellors are caring, empathic professionals who will assist you to accurately assess your problems in living, then help you to develop an action plan to resolve your most pressing issues.

The helping process is designed to assist the participants to realize their full potential in relation to each other, the community and society.

Counselling offers the opportunity for positive change in a supportive setting.

Fees

The City of Calgary (Family & Community Support Services) and the United Way of Calgary and Area subsidize the Society's counselling programs. Their generous subsidies allow us to use a sliding fee scale where the fee is based on your ability to pay.

Counselling Programs

• Our counsellors provide family counselling to help people of all ages effectively cope with their living problems.

• Our counsellors reach out to those elderly people who are seeking assistance with their feelings of anxiety, loneliness and depression.
