Calgary Family Services makes its helping programs available
to all Calgarians irrespective of their financial status.
The Society has three principal sources of revenue.
First are the fees charged to the service users. The
fees cover five percent of our expenses.
The Society does charge for most of its services,
however, we use a sliding fee schedule that
allows people to pay according to their means.
The use of a sliding fee schedule is made
possible
by the generosity of the
City of Calgary (Family
& Community Support Services) and the
United Way of Calgary & Area.
Both provide us
with generous subsidies each year. These subsidies are
our second source of revenue.
|
Our third source of revenue
stems from the service contracts we have with such public
bodies as the Calgary Health Region and the
Calgary and Area Child and Family Services Authority. From
time to time, we also receive one-time grants from organizations
and donations from private sponsors.
