Program Supervisor - Starburst/Spirit

Full-time Position (35 hours/week)

Salary Range:  $47,000 - $54,000

Calgary Family Services currently has a position for an energetic, flexible, enthusiastic individual with initiative and strong organizational and communication skills.

 As the Program Supervisor of the Starburst & Spirit Team, you will oversee the development, delivery and supervision of an innovative program and team of dedicated professionals, designed to assist adolescent girls to develop into strong and capable adult women.  Participants take part in weekly group activities designed specifically to enhance life skills and promote positive and effective decision-making, and enriched family events.   This program is offered by Calgary Family Services in collaboration with more than a dozen community based partner agencies.

 You will work closely with the advisory committee to ensure the successful delivery of the program and promote regular communication with partner agencies.  You will act as a liaison with the Calgary Board of Education and report program information on a regular basis.  You will be responsible for the preparation of program reports and monitoring the program budget and will also play an active role in the promotion of the program within the community.

 A Masters degree in a related field with 3-5 years relevant experience is required.  Program development and project management experience are definite assets.

We are currently looking for Personal Care Attendants to work in 3 specific buildings in the downtown core.  Evening staff also needed for a lodge setting in the northwest area of the city.

Hourly Flexible Caregivers

As a Caregiver, you will provide housekeeping and personal care to our clients. With your help, people that are ill, elderly, or handicapped can often remain in their homes and maintain their independence.

Experience working in a homecare or lodge setting is required.   A positive attitude with a commitment to providing quality service is also essential.

Hours of Work:
20+ hours per week
Day, evening & weekend schedules are available
Starting Salary:
$9.10/hour - $11.45/hour
You will be required to travel throughout the community however, a transportation allowance is provided.
